ATTENTION all STUDENTS and PARENTS

You are invited to the first annual Thrive Student Ministry BIG Breakfast

The BIG Breakfast is our chance to gather as students, parents, and leaders to celebrate the impact that THRIVE has had on our students over the last year. YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS THIS!!! We start serving breakfast at 9:45am. We will share a short moment to reflect on 2011 and look forward to 2012. Then you have a special reserved section in our 11am worship for us to celebrate as a family! If your student is involved in THRIVE Student Ministry we highly encourage you to make a special effort to attend this breakfast and worship.

TRAVEL INFO:

Leaving from GFBC 5pm Friday, Jan. 13

• 15 passenger van will be leaving GHS after the JV games for those playing/cheering
  • Chris Burgess is the driver (864.918.7947)
  • 15 passenger van will be leaving Clinton after Varsity games for those playing/cheering
  • Robbie Gravley is the driver (864.444.3652)

Returning to GFBC between 5:30-6:30pm Monday, Jan. 16

• 15 passenger van will be returning Monday around noon for basketball players ONLY

BEFORE WE LEAVE and FYI:

• You need to have paid your $85
• EVERYONE bring your luggage pieces to church for loading before 4:45pm on Friday
• Yes, even the ones riding the vans!!!!
• We are staying at Garden City Chapel and Retreat

 WHAT TO BRING:

• Sheets and pillow for single bed or sleeping bag
• Bible
• Towels
• Bathing suit (please be modest ladies)
• Personal Snacks
• 1 luggage piece for clothes, 1 luggage piece for linens, and 1 carry-on
• Money for Fri. dinner (fast food), Sat. Lunch (restaurant), Sun. Lunch (restaurant), Mon. Lunch (fast food)
• Spending money… there is an arcade, sams corner, the peir, and other places we may go

WHAT NOT TO BRING:

• Water Guns
• Negative attitudes
• Tobacco, drugs, alcohol, unauthorized prescription drugs
• Anything of high value that could get broken (ipad, computer, etc….)
• Lance has the right to send you home and to confiscate distractions at anytime!

Travel info.

-Leaving GFBC @ 5:30pm Friday, Jan. 13 (there will be late vans ONLY for athletes after the game)

-Returning @ 7pm Monday, Jan. 16

Cost

-Early STUDENT REGISTRATION $75 per student (ends Jan.1)
-Late STUDENT REGISTRATION $85 per student
-Adult Leaders REGISTER HERE $60 (If you would like to become an adult leader please contact Lance)

What to Bring and General Info.

• We are staying at The Garden City Beach Chapel and Retreat
• Bedding for a Single or a sleeping bag
• Clothes for the MEGA BEACH RELAY (it will be crazy, nasty, fun)
• Towels
• Money for 4 meals (supper Fri, lunch Sat, lunch Sun, lunch Mon.)
• Meal stops usually include fast food or Moe’s
• Personal Snacks
• 1 suitcase and 1 carry on per person
• Bible
